"Launching your career through middle school science teaching"

Dr. Daniel Levin from the College of Education will be discussing benefits of studying to teach middle school science after college graduation, and providing information about the University of
Marylandıs new Masterıs Certification program in middle school science teaching. Middle school science teaching can provide you with rewarding opportunities to work with children and adolescents, continue to learn science and share your love for science, and begin your career in an intellectually and professionally rewarding environment. Dr. Levin will discuss ways in which middle school science teaching can provide the launching pad for further careers in education, science, medicine, and law.
Dr. Levine is a PhD in Science Education and a faculty member in the College of Education who began his long and productive career in science education as a middle school science teacher. Dr. Levin would like share with you the education and career opportunities that can develop by starting your post-graduate education with a degree in middle school science teaching. Dr. Levin will provide refreshments. We look forward to seeing you there!
