Today, November 17th is World Prematurity Day. 1 in 8 babies are born too
soon every year- that is 13 million babies born premature every year. Join
the March of Dimes and help raise awareness about premature birth and
infant mortality by wearing purple to show your support. You might have
noticed the display on McKeldin mall that highlights this statistic. The
March of Dimes Collegiate Council at UMD is organizing a GBM, tomorrow
November 18th, to organize family care kits for the NICU at Harbor Hospital
in Baltimore. All those who are interested are welcome. The meeting will be
held at the STAMP union. Please visit www.marchofdimesumd.com for more
updates. The meeting time and place will be confirmed tomorrow. Fore more
