iDiversity Presents: "Recruiting and Serving Diverse Populations in Federal Libraries"
Friday March 9th, 2012 from 6-7pm in HBK 2119
Nancy Faget, Senior Program Planning Specialist at the Government Printing Office (GPO), and her cohort of information professionals represent a skilled and diverse slice of information professionals who work in Federal library settings. Nancy's group will conduct an informal talk about diversity recruitment in Federal information professions, and various groups that support diversity in libraries. iSchool attendees will have the opportunity to network and learn about working with these agencies while still completing their programs.
Join us for pizza & networking - bring your business card! This event is open to all students, alumni, & faculty from all iSchool programs. Please send an RVSP to Becca ([log in to unmask]) by end of day Wed. 3/7 so we can make sure we have enough pizza for the group.
We look forward to learning with you,
