Dear Friends and Colleagues,

The second edition of our book “Introduction to Process Control” is out
through CRC Press. If you are currently teaching process dynamics and
control in your Department, please consider adopting the book for your
course. If you are not teaching the course, we would appreciate it if you
could pass this information to the appropriate person. Some information
about the book are given below with links to the book websites for more

Best regards,

Ahmet Palazoglu ([log in to unmask]) & Jose A. Romagnoli ([log in to unmask])

Introduction to Process Control, Second Edition provides a bridge between
the traditional view of process control and the current, expanded role by
blending conventional topics with a broader perspective of more integrated
process operation, control, and information systems. Updating and expanding
the content of its predecessor, this second edition addresses issues in
today’s teaching of process control.

• Offers unique perspectives on contemporary process control
• Contains many innovative teaching and learning principles
• Presents application examples of control problems, including
regulatory control of continuous processes, advanced control configurations,
and operations involving a number of sequences in conjunction with
conventional regulatory loops
• Provides MATLAB toolboxes on the book’s website
• Incorporates an extended list of new exercises
