Responsibilities: 



Coordinate & Develop product requirements from interactions with a diverse 
range of stakeholders (scientific researchers, business users, portfolio 
managers, 3rd party vendors, IT specialists) used to build and maintain 
the software in the portfolio which includes Shell developed software and 
configuration and customization of 3rd party software 
Coordinate and define and develop the specifications for Product Releases 
and Deployment Schedules 
Provide modeling, algorithm development/support and research as required 
in order to sustain the product portfolio 
Define testing methods and test cases applicable for each portfolio 
element 
Provide technical support, end-user consulting, trouble-shooting and 
training as required to maximize value of the deployed technical software


Requirements: 



 

Degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering 
Minimum of years of experience, 7 years for Bachelor, 6 years for Master, 
4 years for PhD 
Minimum of 5 years of experience implementing or maintaining Advanced 
Process Control (APC) systems (graduate work in the APC domain qualifies) 
Proven record of delivering technical services 
Understanding of technical software development, from concept through 
requirements setting, design and build 
Capability to distill and prioritise diverse inputs into a set software 
specifications 
Ability to work effectively with all levels in organization (Engineering 
Services, Business & IT)
