SPRING GREETINGS…FROM THE NATIONAL GEOSPATIAL-INTELLIGENCE AGENCY (NGA)!

NGA is the nation’s premier source of geospatial intelligence. As a Department of Defense combat support agency and a member of the U.S. Intelligence Community, NGA provides imagery, geospatial and targeting analysis, along with image sciences and modeling for U.S. national defense, disaster relief and safety of navigation. We also provide global support to our Intelligence Community mission partners through NGA representatives stationed around the world. Headquartered in Springfield, VA, NGA operates major facilities in the Washington D.C. and St. Louis, MO metro areas.

SPRING GRADUATES: NGA welcomes you to explore career opportunities that are available on the website at (www.nga.mil). See the “Careers” link for current Job openings. New Assignment Opportunities Notices are updated every Monday. Please review the current openings frequently to identify positions that best align with your skills and abilities. The “Careers” link also includes information on NGA occupations, the application process, benefits, student opportunities, diversity, NGA events schedule and more!

STUDENT INTERNSHIPS and SCHOLARSHIPS: Students interested in careers with NGA are invited to apply for internship or scholarship opportunities. Eligible students selected for hire will receive Top Secret Security Clearances, earn competitive salaries and gain valuable hands-on experience. Our goal is to convert successful students to permanent full time positions upon graduation. Applications for the summer of 2013 will be accepted during August/September 2012 time frame. Students are encouraged to frequent the website (www.nga.mil) for actual intern and scholarship application deadlines.
