The Health Professions Advising Office would like to welcome Ms. Meredith Laurie to our staff.  Meredith is a new prehealth advisor who will be working primarily with students in the Science in the Evening Program, students interested in Allied Health programs and freshmen.  She will begin seeing students in August, but students in her area(s) may correspond with her via email before then.

Prior to joining the staff at UMD, she worked in Residence Life and Student Affairs at the George Washington University. In that role, she worked closely with undergraduate and graduate students serving as an on-campus resource and developing educational opportunities.  Ms. Laurie received a B.A in Political Science from University of Massachusetts and a Masters of Public Health from The George Washington University.
