Hello all:

Tonight, LBSC 650 at Shady Grove will host a guest speaker, Andrea Castrogiovanni, to discuss information access in special libraries.  All are welcome to attend.  The class meets at 5:30pm in Building III, Room 3225.  A shuttle bus runs from College Park to the Shady Grove campus.

Andrea Castrogiovanni is Library Manager at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility, as well as the Sunday Service Manager for the Silver Spring Library, both of which are branches of the Montgomery County Public Library System. She is also the Medical Librarian at Doctors Community Hospital in Lanham. Andrea has done consulting work for several organizations and has published articles via several media. She was awarded her MLS from UMD as a National Leadership Fellow, and completed a nine-month internship at the National Library of Medicine.
