A postdoctoral position is available in the control and systems engineering
group at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. The project seeks to
develop systematic approaches for identifying linear parameter varying (LPV)
systems. Further, a novel off-line model predictive control algorithm based
for LPV systems is developed.
An expertise in first-principles mathematical modeling of chemical
processes, as well as in dynamic optimization are required. Experience with
MATLAB and equation-oriented modeling environments are highly desirable.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in chemical engineering (or related
discipline) with expertise in chemical process modeling, simulation and
optimization (mathematical programming) and the areas mentioned above. The
initial appointment will be for one year, with the possibility of extension
based on performance. The position is available immediately and the review
