Are you a freshman or sophomore interested in public health and medicine?
Check out Global Health Initiative (GHI). We are an organization that
collects unused medical supplies from local hospitals and ships them to
underserved areas around the world among other initiatives. We are also
working on a health videos repository that contains videos to be shown in
clinics across the world to thousands of patients. This organization is
effectively the UMD chapter of the SHARE organization at Johns Hopkins
University and will be a great way to gain volunteer experience for those
interested in medical school. Anyone with an interest or experience in
video editing and film are encouraged to learn more as well.

If you're interested please send us an email at [log in to unmask] to be
added to our listserv, and we'll update you once the semester starts!
