Health Equity at the University of Maryland, will speak on racial and ethnic
health disparities, a topic about

Description
The Pre-Medical Society will host a lecture on the Affordable Care Act
offered by Dr. Karoline Mortensen, Assistant Professor in the School of
Public Health. (http://www.popcenter.umd.edu/mprc-associates/karoline).
Dr. Mortensen studies vulnerable populations and their interactions with
health insurance and health care utilization. Students interested in any
health career should be conversant on this topic and plan to attend.
