suited candidate. The initial position is for one year, with a second and third year of employment
dependent upon performance in the previous year.
The candidate is expected to have a PhD degree in Chemical Engineering and specifically in the
area of Process Systems Engineering or Systems Biology. Previous experience with process
simulation, synthesis, analysis, and optimization, including familiarity with simulation and
optimization software is required. Candidates with strong background in process synthesis and
mathematical programming will be preferred. Experience with the gPROMS, Aspen+ and Hysis,
JMP, Matlab, R statistical package is a plus.
Major responsibilities for this position include process modeling, validation, case study
