A postdoctoral research position is available in the Process Systems and 
Control Lab at UC Berkeley. The work is geared towards dynamic modeling 
and control of a continuous ABE fermentation process for biofuel 
production. The research project will be carried out with the Energy 
Biosciences Institute (EBI), which is an industry-university 
collaboration.

Qualified applicants should hold a doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering 
and preferably in the area of Process Systems Engineering. Prior 
experience with process simulation and optimization of biomass conversion 
processes is strongly preferred.
