The University of Maryland at College Park is hosting a GPU Summit, from

October 27 through October 29, 2014. This intensive three-day workshop will

feature talks, panels and hands-on tutorials on the latest advances in GPU

computing, with a focus on applications in medical informatics, engineering

simulations, astronomy, Big Data, and geosciences.



The summit will feature experts from UMD and NVIDIA, with additional

participation from Army Research Lab, DARPA, Naval Research Lab, FDA, NASA,

National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Standards and

Technology, Laboratory for Communication Sciences, USDA and others.
