POSTDOCTORAL POSITION AT LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY

The Process Systems Engineering Group at the Department of Chemical Engineering of Louisiana state University invites applications for a position as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist in the area of Polymerization reactors modelling and control. The successful applicant will work as part of an interdisciplinary project with Tulane University involving the utilization of a novel Automatic Continuous Online Monitoring of Polymerization reactions system (ACOMP) under the supervision of Professor Romagnoli.

The successful candidate should hold a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and have experience with polymerization modelling, numerical methods and model-based advanced control as well as experience in experimental work, data analysis, and complex problem solving. 

Position is initially for one year, with annual renewal dependent upon performance and continued funding of the project. 

The position is available immediately.
