CALL FOR PAPERS
FOUNDATIONS OF SYSTEMS BIOLOGY IN ENGINEERING (FOSBE) 2015
Royal Sonesta Boston, Boston, MA, August 9-12, 2015
The fifth international Foundations of Systems Biology in Engineering
(FOSBE) conference address emerging challenges in the fields of systems
biology, and its translational science counterpart systems medicine, thereby
serving as a bridge between reductionist molecular and cellular biology
approaches and the systems-level understanding required to use this
knowledge to advance the human condition. This meeting builds on previous
meetings in 2005 (Santa Barbara, CA, USA), 2007 (Stuttgart, Germany), 2009
(Denver, CO, USA), and 2012 (Tsuruoka, Japan), providing an emphasis on
engineering approaches and interdisciplinary education in Systems Biology in
a variety of thematic areas:
• Systems Analysis Techniques
• Systems Biology Education
• Biological Networks
• Synthetic Systems Biology
• Systems Medicine
• Measurements For Validation in Systems Biology
• Multi-cellular Systems Biology
• Metabolic and Signaling Network Modeling and Analysis
Contributed submissions are an important and interactive part of the FOSBE
2015 conference, and these will be presented in poster sessions on
consecutive days. You are invited to submit abstracts by December 15th,
2014 through the conference website at www.fosbe.org. For accepted
abstracts, manuscripts of 6 pages or less are highly encouraged by a later
deadline, as outlined below.
Contributed Paper Deadlines:
- January 9, 2015: Contributed abstract submission deadline
- February 1, 2015: Notification of contributed abstract acceptance
- March 15, 2015: Contributed manuscripts due
- May 1, 2015: Manuscript reviews returned to authors
- June 1, 2015: Final manuscripts due
Additional conference details and the guidelines for contributed
abstract/paper submissions are available at the conference website:
