Subject: Job Opportunity for Recent Pre-Health Grads at a Clinic (VA)

Description:
          The job opportunity is a combination of two positions: 1)
Administrative Assistant and 2) Clinical Care Coordinator. The administrative
assistant is responsible for scheduling patients, answering phone calls,
verifying insurance eligibility, processing payments, and coordinating all
administrative aspects of patient visits.

          The care coordinator is responsible for coordinating all aspects of
patient care during the visit and will be the main point of contact between
the physician and the rest of the staff. The care coordinator will do the
intake and vitals for each patient, review the patient's past medical
history, and present a brief overview of current symptoms to the physician.
The care coordinator will be trained in drawing blood and giving vaccinations
and will have the opportunity to shadow and learn how to do different
clinical procedures (EKG, spirometry, etc) if interested.

          Job requirements include the following:

                 + Completed B.S. in Biology or other related Pre-Health major
(Public Health, Chemistry,etc) and interested in pursuing a career in
health/medical professions.
                 + Excellent oral/written communication skills and
interpersonal skills
                 + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
                 + Candidates should be organized, efficient, and responsible.
