If you are interested in wildlife conservation and outreach, this is a great
opportunity to gain skills in becoming an educator!
The Wildlife Society at UMD is having Project Wild, an environmental
education workshop, this Saturday 2/21. Ms. Kerry Wixted from the Maryland
Department of Natural Resources will teach us the components of a wildlife
conservation/environmental education program for K-12 graders. Project Wild
is a nationwide program, and attendees will receive an official
certification. Anyone is welcome to join this engaging event!
This event is free, and all teaching materials are provided. It is 9am-3pm,
