The Chemical Engineering Department in the College of Engineering at the
University of California, Santa Barbara is seeking applications as part of
an external search for two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions with
a start date of July 1, 2016 or later.
We seek outstanding individuals in any area of chemical engineering.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in chemical
engineering or a related field.
Application packages should include a complete curriculum vitae, contact
information for 3-5 references, and a cover letter (limited to 2
pages)containing the following four elements: (1) most significant
scientific accomplishment as a graduate student; (2) most significant
scientific accomplishment as a postdoc (if relevant); (3) overall
goals/vision for a research program at our institution; and (4) experience
and qualifications that make you particularly well-suited to achieve those
goals. A Statement of Research and a Statement of Teaching must also be
submitted.
