At the laboratory for Process Systems Engineering at RWTH we have multiple
openings for researchers at the doctoral and postdoctoral level. Knowledge
of German is not required nor expected.

Candidates for the postdoctoral positions should have a Ph.D. in chemical
engineering (or related area) with strong mathematical
skills. They are expected to participate substantially in teaching. Research
tasks are in the broad area of process systems engineering.
Excellent communication skills are required.

Candidates for research at the doctoral levels should have a Masters in
chemical engineering (or related area). One opening is for design of
polymerization processes and the other for process operations in the life
sciences. Both positions are embedded in large publicly funded projects in
collaboration with other leading universities and companies.
