The mission of the Lieber Institute for Brain Development is to translate the
understanding of basic genetic and molecular mechanisms of schizophrenia and
related developmental brain disorders into clinical advances that change the
lives of affected individuals. We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated
Research Associate for NIH-funded neuroimaging studies on genes and the
environment (PI: Hao Yang Tan MD). You will have the opportunity to work
with our team of clinical scientists, postdoctoral fellows and postgraduate
students based at the Lieber Institute in the Johns Hopkins Medical Campus in
Baltimore, and our collaborating sites at Peking University, Beijing. The
Baltimore-based position involves working with our team on clinical,
neuroimaging and genetic data. This position is ideal for individuals with
interests in careers in research and medicine. The successful candidate
should have at least a baccalaureate in neuroscience, psychology,
bioengineering, computer science, genetics or related fields. Experience with
neuroimaging data analyses, Matlab programming and statistics is
advantageous.
