Subject: Lab Technician

Description:
Entry level biology/microbiology opportunity in the Howard County area. The
position is looking to start before December 20th, so the screening process
will be moving quickly.

Job Description:
Seeking a Lab Technician to work in the Microbiological lab.
Candidate will be responsible for plating, reading, swabbing, and
release/holding SPC and coliform plates every 2 hours
Candidate must follow GLP (good lab practices)
Must calibrate lab equipment such as pH meters, humidity testers, autoclaves,
stomachers, refractometers, scales, etc.
Must be able to go out to production floor and pick up samples in boxes
Follow GMP, food safety, and Nestle guidelines

Candidate will hand write results of reading and testing and transfer data
into Excel spreadsheets so must have basic computer skills
They will process anywhere from 50–80 samples per day give or take a few.

Shifts:
10 PM-8:30 AM
6 PM-6:30 AM

Pay: $15-$17 an hour
