Description:
Have you ever wondered why terrorists attack or how communities can better
respond to the threat of terror? Do you want to learn more about terrorism or
work in the homeland security field after you graduate? Then check out the
Global Terrorism Minor here at UMD!
The Global Terrorism Minor merges academic study of the causes and
consequences of terrorism and responses to terrorism with practical
experience in research or in the field of homeland security to craft a
knowledge base and skillset in our students that prepares them to become the
next generation of terrorism researchers and policy makers upon graduation!
Applications are due no later than 5pm on February 26th.

Additionally, there will be an information session held on Thursday, December
