Subject: Making a Good Impression- Etiquette Dinner
Description:
2016 Diversity Professional Preparation Series Event
Event Details:
Did you know a job offer can be lost over how you talk and eat with a
prospective employer? As a UMD diverse, talented student do not let this be
the reason for your rejection.
Come learn to navigate a professional meal with key tips regarding not only
dinner place settings and utensil use, but also the art of dinner
conversation.
Our presenter, Sharon-Frances “Shances” Moore (UMD alum-history major),
is an etiquette coach with over 20 years of experience working with
government and corporate clients. A successful development executive at
Viacom/BET Networks, she knows what can be a deal breaker when it comes to
making a good impression.
On Monday, March 21, 2016, the University Career Center & The President’s
Promise will offer this special presentation and dinner. Seating is limited.
