Subject: EPA Chemical Risk Technical Support Associate

Description:
The EPA Environmental Research and Business Support Program is searching for
two EPA Chemical Risk Technical Support Associates at the EPA facility in
Athens, GA. The Associates will work within a multi-disciplinary research
team and provide technical support for the development of computational tools
to predict the fate of organic chemicals in environmental and biological
systems. The job is expected to begin October 2016.

·         Full time, $20.04/hour
·         Must have earned a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, environmental
science, engineering, geology, or a related field
·         Must have experience in organic chemistry and/or biochemistry,
using spreadsheets to analyze data, using chemistry-related software, and
predicting molecular properties
·         Will perform tasks such as curating and compiling data sets,
providing statistical analysis, presenting results, and calculating
physiochemical properties
