2018
Description:

The University Health Center has AMAZING opportunities for YOU!
Peer Educators earn credit to educate the campus community about wellness
through one of four topic specific lenses (substance use, sexual health,
mental health and wellness, or power-based violence). Turn innovative ideas
into action! Being a peer educator is a great opportunity to get hands-on
experience working directly with other students, improve your public speaking
and program planning skills, and join a group of talented, creative,
dedicated students like you who are committed to our mission of wellness for
all at UMD! Email: [log in to unmask]
CARE to Stop Violence Peer Advocates earn credit to assist members of the UMD
community (both in-person and via the crisis cell) that have been impacted by
sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking, sexual harassment, sexual
exploitation and other CARE related issues.
CARE to Stop Violence Outreach Peers earn credit to be the voice of the CARE
office and are ultimately responsible for ensuring the entire UMD campus
community is aware of CARE and other resources for those that have been
impacted by power-based violence.
