Subject: Call for Applicants: Full time and Part time Internal Medicine
Physician Scribe Positions at Suburban Hospital

Description:
The scribe observes the physician during patient encounters and performs
documentation on the physician’s behalf. Under the direction of the
physician, they enter information into the patient’s electronic or written
chart. At the physician’s request, the scribe must be able to locate past
medical records, prior lab/radiology results, or past visit histories for the
physician to review. Additionally, within the EMR itself the scribe needs
the ability to enter data into the chart on the physician’s behalf.

This is an incredibly unique opportunity for those interested in pursuing a
medical career. Each shift, a scribe is able to have a first hand perspective
on doctor-patient interaction. As a level 1 trauma center, a Hospitalist
scribe witnesses Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Trauma Medicine
in practice.

Our Hospitalist team is currently seeking 3 scribes for either part time or
full time availability, to begin Mid to Late May. Please follow the link to
complete our
application through our new interface, Workday. You can search "Bethesda" and
apply under opening R5861.

Feel free to send an update email to the
[log in to unmask] email address once your application is
complete.
