Description:
DAI is an international development company with more than 45 years of
experience in international development, providing services to international
development agencies, international lending institutions, private
corporations and philanthropies, and national governments.
Two positions are available: both based in Bethesda, Md., and include eight

Communications Intern

Work with P&R’s communications specialist to update the web site, develop
the intranet site, contribute to project reporting (such as the GHSA report
or semi-annual report) and maintain project knowledge management systems. The
intern will generate project content and revise drafts with field teams.
Qualifications:
Completed undergraduate-level coursework in Communications or a related field
Experience writing web or printed publication content, such as for a
newspaper, newsletter, blog, or other social media platform
Experience working with Adobe products such as InDesign, Photoshop, and
Illustrator
Global Health Intern

Work closely with P&R’s technical headquarters team to support knowledge
capture and institutional learning. Support technical review and analysis of
P&R country implementation approaches. Assist with the design and
dissemination of global evidence-based technical approaches. Provide writing
support to technical white papers, conduct and analyze desktop research, and
other responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Current graduate student in any global health and development related
discipline or concentration (MPH, MBA, MSc, MDP, MPA, MPP, JD)
Experience providing qualitative or quantitative research support to an
international program
Advanced skills using Excel and/or other spreadsheet and database management
software
