ESCAPE, October 1-5, 2017.

We are very pleased to announce that the National Science Foundation,
though their Program of Process Systems, Reaction Engineering and
Molecular Thermodynamics of the Division of Chemical, Bioengineering,
Environmental and Transport Systems, has provided a travel grant for young
professors, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows affiliated with
Chemical Engineering departments in the United States in order to attend
the World Congress of Chemical Engineering (WCCE), October 1-5, 2017, in
Barcelona, Spain. http://www.wcce10.com A brief description of this
congress is attached to this email.

A maximum allowance of $2,000 for travel, accommodation and registration
will be provided to successful applicants who are selected for this travel
grant. Applicants should be either tenure track faculty age 40 years or
less, or Ph.D. students or postdoctoral fellows in a U.S. chemical
engineering department. In order to apply please send your application

package will consist of the following:

1. Cover letter indicating status of applicant (faculty, graduate student
or postdoctoral fellow) in corresponding chemical engineering department,
and indicating whether an abstract has been submitted to the WCCE (title,
and session or specialized symposium like ESCAPE, IPIC, ICOSSE) or not. It
is not a requirement for applicants to have submitted abstracts, although
preference will be given to those who have. Please also indicate if you
have already registered. The applicant should also indicate the expected
benefit he/she expects to obtain for attending the WCCE.
