Subject: Register for HopHacks!

Description:
HopHacks is a 36-hour biannual hackathon that will take place from Friday,
September 15th to Sunday, September 17th at the Johns Hopkins University in
Baltimore, MD. For 36 hours, students work in teams of up to four people to
bring a software or hardware idea to life. Teams that submit hacks are
eligible to win prizes of over $1000, as well as many sponsored prizes. Some
of this year’s sponsors include JP Morgan, Facebook, Google, and Bloomberg
among others.

This event will offer students at UMD an opportunity to apply the skills they
have learned in coursework to a weekend team project. Our mission is to
provide a collaborative environment where students can learn through sponsor
workshops, and create something they’ve always dreamed about creating. If
you believe our event is fitting, please pass the word along to your
students.

We invite students to register (for free) at https://hophacks.com. Upon
checking in at our event, all participants receive a reusable HopHacks
t-shirt and other swag!
