Colleagues,
Lehigh University is conducting an interdisciplinary faculty search for
multiple positions cutting across the 8 departments in the Rossin
College of Engineering and Applied Science. The search is agnostic to
departments and appointments can be in any of the 8
departments, including Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Joint
appointments may also be considered. Rank is open and
will be commensurate with qualifications. The primary criterion is
excellence in the credentials of the candidate and fit to any of the
three identified areas of interest to the college:
(i) robotics & control;
(ii) data science & analytics, and
(iii) cyber physical systems & internet of things
All 8 departments are jointly participating in this co-ordinated hiring
process in the above three areas of research.
Attached is a single combined request for applications/nomination and a
separate more detailed position description
for each of the three identified areas of interest in this hiring cycle.
We would greatly appreciate it if you could bring these openings to the
attention of your top graduate students and postdocs
who may be interested in these interdisciplinary faculty openings.
Senior appointments are also possible, commensurate with qualifications.
Contact information for each of the search areas can be found in the
attached descriptions. Several faculty members from our department
will also be at the AIChE Annual Meeting in Minneapolis at the Lehigh
University hospitality suite on Monday, October 30 in the evening
to answer any questions.
Best regards,
Mayuresh Kothare
