The gradate program in Molecular & Cellular Biology (MCB) at Uniformed
Services University (USU) is taking additional applicants for FALL 2018. USU
is the military medical school located on the grounds of the Walter Reed
National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, within walking distance of
the Medical Center metro stop. The MCB program provides course work and
laboratory rotations to prepare students for thesis projects using
state-of-the art techniques in genetics, transcriptomics, sequencing and
bioinformatics, as well as biochemical and molecular biological
methodologies. Students complete elective course work in concentrated areas
of interest such as neuroscience and microbiology. Students also have the
option of specialization and completion of a certificate program in
Bioinformatics through the NIH. USU also offers competitive stipends and
benefits.
