Subject: Join the UMD Community on ComYoot

Description:
CMNS Students -

I would like to invite you to join the UMD Community on ComYoot! ComYoot is a
mobile app that allows students from the same university to quickly connect
via complementary skills and expertise to help advance each other's career,
class projects or startup businesses.

The inspiration for the ComYoot app came from experiencing how siloed
departments and colleges were at UMD. As a result, students are not able to
take full advantage of the knowledge across the various colleges. This lack
of information sharing and connection often resulted in startups failing to
kickoff or a weak alumni network.

With ComYoot, we are building a stronger, more connected UMD community, and
hope join to help strengthen the UMD network. We currently have over 200
other UMD students and alumni with diverse skills on the app who are waiting
to connect / collaborate with you!

Please click on one of the following links to download the ComYoot mobile
app:
iOS App - https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/comyoot/id1215361694?ls=1&mt=8
Android App - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.comyoot

Here are some benefits of joining the UMD Community:
- Make more impactful connections
- Reduce networking time
- Advance your career
- Grow startup, business, or creative projects
- Foster more in-person interactions

Look forward to collaborating with you on ComYoot!

Still not sure what ComYoot is?

Here's a recent article from UMD Diamondback that shares the inspiration for
ComYoot, and why it is a valuable tool for students.
