Subject: Participate in a Language Learning and tVNS Study!

Description:
Two studies are recruiting participants! Complete questionnaires and
computerized cognitive and foreign-language learning tasks. Some sessions
will also involve transcutaneous vagus nerve stimulation (tVNS).

Vocabulary/Grammar: 5 sessions on 5 consecutive days. Also involves heart
rate monitoring. Monday, Friday sessions are at the Patapsco building and are
2 hours each, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday sessions are at H.J. Patterson
Hall and are 1.25 hours each. $155 total ($10/session until last session).

Speech: 3 sessions. Also involves electroencephalography (EEG) and
pupillometry. All sessions are at the Maryland Neuroimaging Center. Session 1
is 1.25 hours, Sessions 2 and 3 are within 2 days of each other and are 3
hours each. $145 total ($10/session until last session). Email
