We just had the very sad news that Roger Sargent passed away this morning
after a short illness. Roger established the Centre for Process Systems
Engineering (CPSE) at Imperial College London and was Head of Chemical
Engineering for much of the 1970s and 1980s. He is globally remembered for
being the founder of the Process Systems Engineering discipline, a
tremendous legacy that he has left us and so many colleagues worldwide.
