The Federal Aviation Administration’s Minority

Serving Institution (MSI) Intern Program enables

students to gain professional experience in aviation

and aerospace facilities nationwide. Students will be

placed in a variety of career fields while building

knowledge and skills within their respective location.

These fields will include, but are not limited to:

aviation research, flight standards and operations,

computer science, engineering (aerospace, computer,

civil, electronics, electrical, and mechanical), finance,

business, legal, and other aviation and transportation

studies.



Some of the desired majors are as follows:

Computer Science (Computer Science, Computer Information

Systems)

• Cyber Security

• Engineering (General, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerodynamics,

Aerospace, Computer)

• Finance

• Human Resource Management

• International Studies

• Management Information Systems
