Subject: MD volunteers needed

Description:
Maryland Day is Saturday April 27, 2019.  I need volunteers to help out in a
room filled with biology related activities. This is a chance to share your
enthusiasm and knowledge with the general public. The activities include:
•	Helping visitors make DNA-code bead bracelets.
•	Guiding visitors with testing their reaction times using reaction time
rulers.
•	Testing visitors knowledge with the Biology Quiz.
•	Supervising visitors playing Primate Bingo.

Volunteers work in 2 hour shifts between 10am and 4pm. I can use up to 6
volunteers for each 2 hour time slot. Typically volunteers prefer the morning
hours, so if you can help in afternoon hours that would be appreciated. All
activities will be set up when you arrive and explained to you. It’s a fun
and easy way to bring an appreciation of biology to people in and around our
community. You will receive a MD t-shirt, some small UMD logo items in return
for your help.
