CONTEXT OF THE JOB:

Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering
The researcher will work with Prof. Ierapetritou and Prof. Papoutsakis and their research teams. The research will include working with perfusion bioreactor for the production of monoclonal antibodies. The work requires experience with analytical technologies such as HPLC, GC/MS etc. The postdoctoral researcher will work with the research team of the PIs to model an optimize bioreactor performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with UD researchers to set up perfusion bioreactor for the production of mAbs
Perform reactor characterization and performance testing using different operating conditions.
Responsible for data management, analysis, and presentation of results to industrial and FDA scientists and management, business leaders, as well as at relevant scientific conferences.  

QUALIFICATIONS:
A PhD or equivalent in chemical engineering or bioengineering, with experience in experimental measurements of biological systems preferably of CHO cells. Experience working with bioreactors is desirable. Strong interpersonal skills along with analytical skills.
