Description:
Venesco LLC, is currently hiring for 30 Lab Technician I openings. These
positions will be IN support of a Mobile
COVID-19 testing site. We are looking for ROAD WARRIORS that will travel to
locations, where mobile
testing sites are being put up, on military bases. You will be processing
COVID-19 tests in a mobile LAB. This
position will include per diem, depending on the city you work in, we will
also cover travel and lodging costs for
this. MUST HAVE previous experience working in a LAB, performing lab tests
and a Bachelor’s degree in related
field.

Job Description

-Perform routine analyses on laboratory samples using the appropriate
instrumentation
-Must follow all appropriate policies, procedures, and guidelines including
safe operation and
maintenance of all laboratory equipment
-Receive, prepare, and process laboratory samples on behalf of the client
-Work in a team environment to meet sample processing deadlines for the
client
-Ability to analyze samples according to the SOP, make observations, and
record results
according to Good Laboratory Practices/Good Manufacturing Practices
-Transfer data into a database and generate reports using compatible software
-Perform daily start-up checks and instrument calibrations on laboratory
equipment
-Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents to maintain
instrumentation
-Practice good housekeeping skills, well organized, and clean working area
-Follow all other federal safety and health regulated guidelines

Qualifications for Lab Technician

-Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related life science
-0-3 years of experience working in a laboratory
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other related software
-Ability to perform mathematical computation in different units of
measurement
-Detailed oriented in observations and written documentation
-Ability to write in a laboratory notebook, record results, and generate
final reports
-Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills with manager and
colleagues
-Ability to perform physically demanding work standing for long periods of
time
-Flexibility to work different shifts depending upon the demands of the
project
-Must be a US citizen and have the ability to receive a public trust
clearance

Required technology experience: Training will be provided for this particular
position
Required software experience: Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other related
software
Required Certifications: None
Required Degrees: BS Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related life science
