Description:

Join the Student Government Association’s Civic and Governmental Affairs

committee! We meet weekly on Tuesday evenings and work to increase voter

turnout at UMD; lobby on behalf of UMD students at all levels of government;

work in teams on projects related to policing reform, prison labor reform,

COVID-19, ICE contracts, coronavirus; and so much more! We welcome newcomers

and are open to new pitches for projects for this school year. Our first

meeting will be on Tuesday, Sept. 8. Email [log in to unmask] or
