Subject: Join UNICEF UMD to support and aid children and families affected by
humanitarian and emergency crises.

Description:
UNICEF UMD is a new student organization partnered with the UNICEF campus
initiative, whose mission is to promote college student participation in
education, advocacy and fundraising activities to support children in-need,
locally and worldwide on behalf of UNICEF USA. The UNICEF Campus Initiative
is a growing grassroots movement rooted in the belief that college students
have a vital role to play in helping the world's children survive. For each
of our monthly themes, like Civic Duty, Hygiene & Sanitation, and Women's
Rights, we focus on improving the health, nutrition, education, and general
welfare of children. Be sure to check out our website for more detailed

Our interest meeting is Tuesday, 9/22, 5-6 PM via Zoom at ter.ps/unicef22.
Our first event will be a voter registration training on Monday, 9/28, 3-4
PM.
