Subject: CARE's Purple Lights Night
Description:
This year, the CARE office is hosting an event called Purple Lights Night,
which focuses on honoring survivors and spreading awareness about
relationship violence. The event will be held on October 28th from 4-6 pm
outside of Memorial Chapel. Students and faculty are encouraged to attend and
take advantage of the peace and tranquility of the Garden of Reflection and
Remembrance to honor survivors of relationship violence. Join CARE to Stop
Violence and guests as we remember and honor victims and survivors of
relationship violence during Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Hear from
professionals in the field who will raise awareness, honor those who have
been impacted, and call on us to unite to prevent future violence. There will
be an opportunity to donate to CARE's Victim Assistance Fund during the
program.
