Description:
Environmental justice is defined as the fair treatment and meaningful
involvement of all people, regardless of race, color, national origin, or
income, with respect to the development, implementation, and enforcement of
environmental laws, regulations, and policies.
Students attending this virtual event will hear and learn from a variety of
professionals working within environmental justice and its connection to
diversity, equity and inclusion in the environmental sector. Students will
also get the opportunity to network and learn about potential volunteer,
internship and job opportunities.
