Subject: Minority Women in Medicine Virtual Symposium

Description:
The Charles R Drew Pre-Health Society is hosting the 1st Annual Minority
Women in Medicine Virtual Symposium on October 17th from 10am to 1pm. The
event’s theme will center around both being a woman in healthcare and how
to advocate for Women’s Health and provide care for women- especially women
in marginalized identities who face disparities in health care.

This event will include a distinguished panel of minority women physicians,
physician assistants, podiatrists, dentists, and more including a keynote
address from Dr. Arumula, a UMD Alumna.
