Subject: Minority Males in Medicine Symposium (MMIMS) 2020

Description: Minority males, such as black and latino men, are an endangered
species in medicine. A lot of young men who are considered a minority want to
pursue medicine but lack the guidance and the support system necessary to
achieve this goal. MMIMS provides minority male premed students with an
opportunity to network, gain insight, and gain inspiration from minority male
professionals in the medical field. By hosting this event we hope to inspire
young men who are pursuing medicine that becoming a physician is attainable
and get them in contact with the right physician who could potentially become
their mentor.
