Subject: Becoming an Equitable Leader: Understanding Yourself to Lead Change

Description: Join Teach For America and a select group of student
change-makers from across the nation for an afternoon of reflection and
dialogue as we explore the experiences that have shaped our individual
understanding of ourselves and society. You will learn how to use your unique
experiences to become equity minded leaders on your campus, in your work, and
throughout your career. Student participants in this introductory Diversity,
Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) workshop will learn about cycles of
socialization, learn how to identify and interrogate biases, and be given a
framework to continue to learn, operate, and lead equitably.
