Are you an undergraduate student, Pell Grant recipient, and U.S. citizen with
international interests? You may be eligible to apply for the U.S. State
Department’s Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, which provides
up to $5,000! In the last 2 ½ years, 80 UMD students have won Gilman
Scholarships, winning a total of $256,000!
The deadline to apply for Gilman Scholarships for SUMMER AND FALL 2021 is
March 2, 2021.
VIRTUAL EXPERIENCES OFFERED THROUGH UMD
The Office of International Affairs is excited to offer 10 new Global
Classrooms courses for Summer 2021 and one virtual internship program. These
opportunities are eligible for the Gilman Scholarship, which is now open!
Fall 2021 opportunities are also Gilman-eligible - listings for Fall 2021 are
