Take THET285: The Art of Communication and Presentation during Summer Session

I (June 1-July 9) - ONLINE with instructor Tara Demmy.



Testudo lists the class meeting time as MTuWTh 12:00pm - 1:50pm - but the

class will meet on zoom only 2x per week, supplemented by asynchronous

coursework.



THET285 will explore storytelling, acting, improvisation, character

development, physical theatre, and playwriting in its approach to the

challenge of live communication. The goal of this course is for students to

develop confidence in a variety of public speaking situations and an

understanding of their own unique voice. The online version of THET285 will

address techniques specific to virtual platforms (zoom) as well techniques

applicable to in-person presentations.
