Subject: Potential Post-Bac Research Position at the USUHS
Description:
Dr. Kristi Frank’s lab in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at
Uniformed Services University in Bethesda is seeking an individual (will
consider postbac, post-masters, or postdoc) with experience in bacteriology
and molecular biology (specifically, PCR and molecular cloning). This is
expected to be a 2-3 year project. The Frank lab uses microbiology, molecular
biology, and animal model techniques to study Enterococcus faecalis biofilm
formation. The open project focuses on the molecular characterization of an
E. faecalis membrane protease in biofilm formation, spread of antibiotic
resistance, and interactions with the host immune system. Please email Dr.
Frank ([log in to unmask]) directly for more information about the
position.
