Need a new passport? Start NOW! Passport processing times are significantly
delayed and we advise all Terps applying for a new or renewed passport to
apply using expedited processing to make sure you have your passport
information far in advance of your departure (you’ll need it for visas and
program registrations).

*If you currently have a passport, check that it is going to be valid through
at least 6 months after the end of your study abroad program. If not,
you’ll need to renew ASAP!
